Hey guys!
A week ago I returned home from my vacation in France with my parents and little sister. We went to Périgord, which is part of the departement Dordogne. We have visited a few cities and villages during this week and they were all so pretty. It felt like walking in a magazine about France, so many cute alleys and houses. Today I am showing you the first two cities, Nontron & Brantôme. The other part will be up later this week! I hope you enjoy the photos, let me know what you think!
Nontron
The first village we visited during this week, was Nontron. Nontron is a small village, which is famous of his knives. It was definitely worth visiting this place, because it has a big historical part with cute houses and a big parc.
I wore a simple summer outfit, with a white crop top from Boohoo and my vintage DIYed (and favourite) shorts. My necklace and sunnies are from H&M and my watch is from AliExpress. My heeled sandals are new and from River Island, aren't they gorgeous? I also wore a bandana in my hair for the first time and now I am obsessed with this hairstyle! A few weeks before France, I went to the hairdresser and cut my hair short again. It is a little too short to tie all my hair into a knot, so with a bandana I can keep my hair out of my face and neck, and it looks nice too! :)
Brantôme
On Wednesday, we visited Brantôme, also called la Venise du Périgord. It is a little medieval town, which is surrounded by the river Dronne. At Brantôme, you can find many cute houses and an old abbey. I loved the old little streets and bridges, it really felt like a French version of Venice.
On this day I wore this beautiful red midi skirt from H&M(!) with a black off-the-shoulder top from Boohoo. I am in love with this combination, I felt so classy!
Brantôme is definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhoud and if you love medieval French villages!
So what do you think of the photos and outfits? Have you ever been to one of these villages?
Stay tuned for part 2 soon!
xx Sherilynn
