Hey guys!
I'm back from my city trip to Madrid and wow what an amazing city! I've loved every second of it and finally had a break of thinking about school and graduating. About Madrid I will tell and show you more later (maybe in more than one post). Of course I went shopping and I've bought a lot, so if you want to know what I've bought keep reading...
Madrid is a great place to shop for everyone. At Gran Vía you can find the huge stores like H&M, Zara and there will be a Primark too soon. At Calle de Fuencarral you can find stores like Lush, Brandy Melville, Kiko, MAC and so much more. In Malasaña (Universidad) you can find a lot of vintage stores, especially at Calle de Velarde.
I love vintage so I needed to go to Malasaña. At a vintage store called Magpie I bought another pair of Levi's jeans only this pair is a lighter blue than the pair I bought in Amsterdam. They were only €25 so I couldn't leave them behind, you can never have too much jeans, right? I think these jeans are amazing for festivals when it's a bit colder. I bought these cool sunglasses at a store called Biba Vintage for €10. My friend told me I had to buy them and I think they're perfect for festivals.
I didn't know this store but when I walked in I was sold. The clothes are so cheap but look really cute, it looks a bit like Primark. I saw this playsuit and I knew I had to buy it. Lately, I've been obsessed with playsuits. You can wear them on a summer day with some sandals or sneakers or for a night out with a pair of heels or with platforms like I do. The playsuit was €15,99. I also needed a new sports bra and this one was only €5,99.
One of my favourite stores is Brandy Melville, so of course I had to visit the store in Madrid. I haven't been to Brandy since December so that's why I bought three new tops. I bought these tops for the upcoming festivals because I think they will look great with a pair of shorts. And yes, I bought colour, I'm so proud of myself haha. The blue printed top was €18, the black mesh crop top €12 and the red and white striped halter top €14.
I also bought some tops at Topshop, because I can never have too many tops, especially crop tops. These tops are more basic tops so I can wear it with some statement jewelry at festivals. The mint and the soft pink top are the same and they were both only €8. I wanted to buy the white top at the opening of Topshop in Amsterdam but I chose for a black hat instead. That's why I had to buy it this time, I just love the open shoulders, it looks so good. The white top was €15.
This store looked so much like Brandy Melville, only it sells different sizes instead of one size. I've wanted the Chiyo top of Brandy for a long time but it's too small for me... So when I saw they had this kind of top at Double Agent too but in different sizes I thought I'd try it on and yes it fits! The top was €10.
When you're in Spain you need to go to Stradivarius, the little sister of Zara. They have such amazing clothes and accesoires for reasonable prices. And there's good news, Stradivarius is also coming to The Netherlands! This time I only bought some jewelry: a necklaces set and some bracelets and I think these are (again) perfect for festivals. The necklaces were €7,95, the bracelets €5,95.
Magpie & Biba Vintage:

Lefties

Brandy Melville
One of my favourite stores is Brandy Melville, so of course I had to visit the store in Madrid. I haven't been to Brandy since December so that's why I bought three new tops. I bought these tops for the upcoming festivals because I think they will look great with a pair of shorts. And yes, I bought colour, I'm so proud of myself haha. Double Agent
Here are some pictures of me wearing the white top from Topshop and the halter top from Brandy Melville.
Stradivarius
When you're in Spain you need to go to Stradivarius, the little sister of Zara. They have such amazing clothes and accesoires for reasonable prices. And there's good news, Stradivarius is also coming to The Netherlands! This time I only bought some jewelry: a necklaces set and some bracelets and I think these are (again) perfect for festivals. The necklaces were €7,95, the bracelets €5,95.
Kiko
I never use foundation but I thought I'd would try it out. At Kiko a lovely lady helped me out finding the perfect colour and type of foundation for me. Eventually, I went for this CC Cream Cushion System in the colour Warm Beige 30. It's a light foundation so you don't really see that I'm wearing foundation and that's the look I'm going for. The foundation was €15,90.
MAC Cosmetics
I actually went into the MAC store to buy a lipstick but I saw this lipliner and I fell in love with the colour of it. It's such a beautiful bright pink. The lippencil is Pro Longwear and is called Dynamo. It was €19,50.
Lush
I finally bought some stuff at Lush! We had a bath at the apartment so I finally could buy some bath bombs. I chose the bath bombs 'Granny Takes a Dip' and 'Dragons Egg'. The pictures I made looked like shit and I've already used them, so I don't have any photos of these, I'm sorry. They were both €4,95. I also bought a scrub called Rub Rub Rub and wow you can feel and see the difference after using this scrub. It smells really good and you only need to use a little bit so you can use it for a long time. The scrub was€11,95.
As you can see I've bought a lot in Madrid, but I'm really happy with all of the items. I can't wait for the festival season and wear these clothes. What's your favourite item? Do you have any of these items? More posts about my trip to Madrid are coming soon!
